The last race of the year was held at Casey Fields. The team stayed at a nearby caravan park the night before the race to avoid an otherwise very early start on Saturday.
We arrived at track and set up our pits quickly, thankfully this was completed just before the rain set in. This event was an 8 hour race and the first 1.5 hours were wet and quite cold. The conditions proved a challenge for all teams, however, as in previous races, our vehicles and riders managed the wet conditions better than most. Austin completed the longest stint, an amazing 2 hours. While Luka completed the fastest lap, even in wet conditions, an amazing 2 minutes 42 seconds. The race was Red Flagged with 1 hour to go, and was then restarted from the pit lane. White Line Fever held on to a slim lead all day in the Middle Secondary class and ended up winning by three laps, this win secured the Vic Series Championship for 2024, winning all races entered this year. Arrow Dynamic won the Junior Open category by an enormous 23 laps and by doing so also won the Vic Series Championship for 2024, again winning every event entered this year.
We give our thanks to God for continued blessings in the midst of all that HPV racing has to offer. Congratulations to all riders who rode for CSCC this year, you raced hard and raced with integrity at all events, Mr Dunstan is proud of you all. Thank you also to the parents who assisted and made every event an absolute pleasure.
