Year 7 Portsea Camp

March 17, 2026

Our Year 7 Portsea Camp in February 2026 was an unforgettable adventure filled with sunshine, teamwork, and plenty of laughs. Students loved exploring the many beautiful beaches, digging huge holes in the sand, and enjoying the freedom of beach time with friends. The ice creamery was a clear favourite, with many students calling the food—especially the lunches and desserts—one of the best parts of camp. From the drive down to Portsea to the excitement of the ferry ride, every moment added to the sense of shared journey and fun.

The highlights came thick and fast: the thrilling Giant Swing, the high‑flying challenge of the Flying Fox, and the mysterious underground tunnels that everyone was eager to explore. The various activities let many push themselves in new ways, and evenings around the campfire created memories that will last well beyond Year 7. One group even spotted an echidna, adding a little wildlife magic to the week. Whether it was free time, beach adventures, or conquering fears on the big activities, Portsea Camp brought our Year 7s together and set a joyful tone for the year ahead.
